Welcome to this new series on monetizing your book. Ultimately, your book can stand alone. Done well, it can bring you everything you envisioned when you published your book. It will, indeed, boost your brand, grow your business, and ensure you are the go-to expert. However.

Tip #1: Your book isn't just a book. It can also be a business.

Your book can also be a business (read: empire!), you can turn into more business, or be the epicenter of the business you already have. In fact, it can, will, and should drive readers to discover what else you have to offer.

Whether you are a coach, consultant, speaker, trainer, therapist, attorney, CPA, financial advisor, or realtor (who am I missing?), your book will bring people into your ecosystem.

The question is: what else can you offer? Said another way, how can you repurpose the contents of your book into another income stream (or several). What else do you need to consider or think about? What are the things to avoid, and what should go for?

These ideas and more are what we will be exploring in this series. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to help you think about monetizing your book from several different perspectives, know how to choose one, and perhaps go from idea to cash money before the series is done!
