5/3/24 Monetize Your Book Tip 15: Who Can Help You?

Hi, Reader! It's Friday! I'm totally excited for tomorrow--my Rotary Club hosts an annual Jockeys & Juleps Kentucky Derby Party charitable fundraiser. I love the horse names (my favorite this year is Uncle Heavy), camaraderie, and most of all, giving back. The weather has warmed up and it's absolutely gorgeous outside, and I've been writing "all the things" and hosting most of this week's Zoom calls from the deck. The last tip this week is Tip 15: Who can help you avoid painful mistakes and gain momentum faster? You won’t be reinventing any wheels here, which means there are many resources available to help you gain success and avoid failure. Consider engaging a mentor or coach, or joining a mastermind. Riding the entrepreneur rollercoaster can be a lonely ride, so buckle up with some peer and mentor support. If you want to go far, you can go alone. Yet if you want to get far and fast, leaning on a mentor and/or coach can mean the difference between going out of business (abandoning what might have been an incredibly profitable income stream) and growing your business. Additionally, having peer support, knowledge, and encouragement can make growing your empire, well, just more fun. There are others who have done and are doing exactly what you want to do, so BOLO!
